We finally received the new Claudine Hellmuth Jumbo Creative Layers Stamps. She designed two new sets - Nature and Bloom - in Clear and Foam.
The idea behind these is to lay down one image and over stamp with the other to create a layered look in your designs.
We've posted a supply list to the Bird Card project shown above that uses the solid Foam stamp first then the Clear outline stamp over top.
You can also stamp your outline stamps first then overstamp with a sheer ink or wash on the solid for a totally different effect.
Claudine did the above project on her Sticky Back Canvas which is a fabulous surface that gives a lot of teeth and texture to projects!

These designs just said SPRING to me!
I love the line drawn images to stamp with a permanent waterproof ink like Ranger Archival, then wash with watercolors for a quick notecard centerpiece.
The solid images like the one above called "Painter's Vase" are perfect for colorizing directly onto the stamp with markers or paints... then lightly spritz with water for a soft diffused effect or huff with your breath for a multicolor image.
And there are some saying stamps that are really lovely too. This one is my personal favorite!

We now have all eight of the new Dyan Reaveley "Dylusions" Cling Mount Stamp Sets in stock! These are manufactured by Stampers Anonymous and have a really fun and funky feel.
Dyan Reaveley is now a Senior Educator with Ranger Industries so you will find lots of techniques and ideas from her using the Ranger products we all love, like Perfect Pearls, Distress Inks and more.

Art Parts, Cling Mount Stamps and More

Some of the eagerly awaited Wendy Vecchi Art Parts are starting to arrive! The sample above shows just one of Wendy's amazing assemblages using Art Parts, Stamps, Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Embellishments and Ranger Products.
Art Parts are really sturdy, stiff, sandable, inkable, alterable shapes that you can arrange in a multitude of ways. Cover with papers, Tissue Tape, stamped images, paint, etc., for a load of different effects, dimension and delight!
Another bonus - you can run them through Tim's Vagabond Die Cut Machine using his Alterations Texture Fades! They are about 1/8" thick so are much more sturdy than Chipboard, but still thin enough to layer and work in the machine.

I am about to try the "Custom Memo Pins" idea she's posted several times:
Lay the pins on a non-stick Craft Sheet, put the paper or other item you want to feature into the open space of the Memo Pin (or Charm Clip!), fill with Glossy Accents, allow to dry a couple of hours and voila!
Customized embellishments that tie your artwork together!

We have received a shipment of the new Tim Holtz Grid Blocks (and have almost sold out!). We have more on order, so no worries.
Tim shows you these blocks on the Video we posted for you HERE.
They are thin acrylic blocks with Laser-Etched Gridlines in 1/2" Increments. The set includes 9 Blocks in various sizes, each measuring approximately 1/8" thick. The blocks have an etched grid like pattern for easy placement and accuracy. To use with cling and clear mount stamps, place stamp directly on blocks and stamp. Lightweight and all the sizes you need for Tim's Cling Mount Stamp collections!

Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Glam
We are now offering Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Glam from Tattered Angels, along with Glimmer Mists, Chalkboard Glimmer Mists and more.
Glimmer Glam is a water-soluble paint with glitter that will adhere to metal, fabric, acrylic, wood, paper, vellum and more.
Glimmer Glaze is also water-soluable but is also a more permanent medium that will stick to any surface. Apply finely for a matte glimmer finish or layer it for a glossy finish.
