Double Pop Up Punches from Martha Stwewart

If you are on our Yahoo Groups Email List, you recently received an udate about the new Martha Stewart Double Pop Up Punches we are stocking.

Here is a close up look at the Water Lily punch:

A good hard press will punch this shape out of 65lb cardstock. We had to try a couple of times to get the center dots to cut clean through.

I liked alternating which petals I lifted. It was easier to turn the flower over and gently press every other solid petal through from the back.

Then I gently pressed every other hollow petal up from the front.

VOILA!

Before bending the petals, you can enhance your flower - we used a quick spray of Memories Mist in "Blue Hawaii."

Memories Mists are intended to be a speckled mist that gives a stippled look. Use Glimmer Mists if you want finer mists with a sheen. Memories Mists also has a beautiful Iridesent Overlay that you can put over any color to leave a really noticable opalescent glow.

Attach your finished flowers to your art and you have a really beautiful, delicate and stunning design element!
